What we do

TERRITORIO MUDÉJAR

2021

2021 was defined by our activity program, designed in accordance with the strategic lines set out in the “2019-2022 Work Plan by the Council of the European Union”, which are aligned with the goals of Agenda 2030. It is based on the guiding principle that the cultural identity of the region shall contribute to sustainable social and economic development, differentiating markets and, in turn, enabling them to be integrated into a diversified economy that can ensure their future success.

Therefore, we have outlined the following strategic areas:

Research and projects

We shall sponsor up to six grants for fieldwork in this rural region in order to study and design ways to implement projects related to cultural and heritage resources, seeking synergies with innovation at rural schools, skills-building and networking of professionals in the heritage field within the rural setting.

Communication

At the local, national and international levels. Through a wide range of actions that fill all the communication gaps, the goal is to make the international World Heritage brand more visible and profitable by arranging meetings with the media and with public and private entities, live broadcasting on social media, and creating an outreach training program on the MIRIADAX platform created by Fundación Telefónica.

Investments and development

Established by working with specialist teams in a range of calls for project funding at the national, European and international levels so as to safeguard our future in the medium and long term through exceptional management.
