of Old Christians and the other first of Mudejars and then New Christians, after the expulsion of the Moors. On the one hand, it has a renowned pottery tradition dating back to the 15th century and is known to have been the largest supplier of pots in the region. On the other hand, the gunpowder mills and the <em>Real F\u00e1brica de P\u00f3lvora<\/em> of the town constituted, in its more than four hundred years of existence, one of the main economic activities of the province of Zaragoza and Aragon.  <\/p><p>Today, now definitively closed, they form a pre-industrial landscape of great heritage importance which, due to its geographical extension and the complexity of the production process, still reveals its past economic, social and strategic importance.
