cooperation project between rural development groups led by the Asociaci\u00f3n Territorio Mud\u00e9jar.<\/p>\n<p>The following have participated in the project: ADRI Calatayud-Aranda, ADRI Jiloca-Gallocanta, FEDIVALCA -Valdejal\u00f3n and Campo de Cari\u00f1ena-, ASOMO Tarazona and el Moncayo, CEDEMAR -Bajo Arag\u00f3n Caspe and Ribera Baja del Ebro-, ADRAE -Ribera Alta del Ebro- and ADEFO Cinco Villas.<\/p>\n<p>The objective is to develop educational materials around the Mudejar identity of the towns, placing rural schools and the educational community of the towns as the center of the project.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the work developed, for almost three years, the students of fifteen schools have designed a walk through their town in which we can learn about the main points of interest and their connection with the Mudejar culture.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"p1\">This walk shows us the work of the students of the CEIP Fernando el Cat\u00f3lico school in Quinto.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Quinto, it was inhabited by Muslims since the 8th century, although its foundation is Roman. The Christians conquered the territory where the Muslims lived at the beginning of the 12th century. In the town of Quinto, traces of its Islamic and medieval past can be seen, especially in the imposing Mudejar church of La Asunci\u00f3n, popularly known as El Piquete. It is a fortress church; it serves as a strategic point from which to keep watch along its patrol path, and also fulfils a religious function. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">  <\/span>The interior is preserved as it was after one of the clashes that took place during the Spanish Civil War. The climate in both places is different, so the Arabs became pioneers in the introduction of irrigation techniques in the rural world. Some examples are waterwheels, waterwheels, cisterns and the most common, irrigation ditches.
