TERRITORIO MUD\u00c9JAR was born as an association of municipalities whose objective is to strengthen a unified and collaborative management network for the use of historical and artistic resources linked to the important Mudejar heritage, understanding them as an engine for the development of the villages and as an element of identity for the maintenance of the communities that make up our territory.<\/p>\n

The association TERRITORIO MUD\u00c9JAR presents itself as a private management entity with the participation of public administrations based on a project whose work has a direct impact on the territory through the responsible and sustainable management of the Mudejar Cultural Heritage.<\/p>\n

TERRITORIO MUD\u00c9JAR is based on an identity approach of sustainable territorial and rural development based on the Aragonese Mudejar Heritage, a monumental resource existing in 85% of the territory of the province of Zaragoza, and supported by numerous samples of industrial, agricultural, ethnographic and traditional heritage that have reached our days adapting to the passage of time and the evolution of the territory and its population.<\/p>\n

Incorporated on September 13, 2018 with twenty partner municipalities and one collaborating municipality in the province of Zaragoza, the entity has reached thirty members in a short time and is still open to new incorporations in the different options allowed by its statutes: partners and collaborating entities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The general objective of the entity is to promote activities for the study, dissemination and promotion of Mudejar Art in Aragon in all its extension -architecture, movable and immovable property, urban planning, affected territory, population, society and culture-, as well as the promotion of art and heritage management initiatives that serve for its better appreciation, conservation and knowledge.<\/p>\n

Since 2019 our work is defined by our program of actions, designed according to the strategic lines raised by the “Work Plan of the Council of the European Union 2019-2022”<\/strong> aligned to the objectives of the 2030 Agenda<\/a>, has as its guiding principle: the cultural identity of the territories will contribute to sustainable social and economic development by differentiating markets and in turn allowing their integration into a diversified economy that can ensure their future success.<\/p>\n

We develop work stays and artistic residencies in rural areas to study and design the implementation of projects linked to cultural and heritage resources, seeking synergies with innovation in rural schools, training by competencies or the creation of professional networks of heritage in rural areas.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
