The purpose of this call for applications is to set up a programme to support creation by granting TWO ARTISTIC RESIDENCES<\/strong> for creators, artists and professionals from artistic and creative disciplines who can use the historical, artistic, cultural and natural heritage of the partner towns of Territorio Mud\u00e9jar as a reference for the development of an idea, an artistic research or a highly innovative project that links creativity and one or more of the fields of activity or area of work specified below.<\/p>\n The proposals must include as a fundamental part of their development a stay<\/strong> or justified time of residence in one or more of the localities of Territorio Mud\u00e9jar.<\/p>\n The projects presented must demonstrate a direct impact<\/strong> on at least two partner towns of Territorio Mud\u00e9jar and provide evidence of the influence of this impact on the rest of the territory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We are looking for projects with an inspiring and innovative vision that link the potential transformation of the local sphere to a global and networked vision, that dedicate time to thinking about the challenges of today’s society and that rely on technology to make the social fabric and artistic languages evolve.<\/p>\n Objectives: Specific objectives: This call is part of the AREA 4. Laboratory for “Artistic Residencies”. <\/strong>which works in the villages of Territorio Mud\u00e9jar to make them visible as spaces of thought where new paths can be explored through artistic thought. Although the topics are open-ended and subject to proposals, some of the areas we consider to be of interest are as follows:<\/p>\n The procedure<\/strong> for awarding grants will be processed on a competitive basis according to the assessment criteria established in the call for applications and, in accordance with Article 22.1 of Law 38\/2003, of 17 November, General Law on Subsidies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t Participation is open to national or international creators without legal status who meet all the requirements of this call for proposals.<\/p>\n The applicant may be at an early or intermediate stage of his\/her research career or creative activity and must provide proof of the following:<\/p>\n The call is not open to legal entities of any kind: companies, partnerships, associations, communities of property or groups under any other type of legal associative formula.<\/p>\n When the project is submitted by two or more persons, the formula is called “team” and each member of the team must be accredited individually.<\/p>\n If the project submitted is part of a research project linked to a university, public research centre or private (non-profit) centre, this must be indicated in the project report.<\/p>\n The acceptance of the project and the development of the stay is compatible with other professional activities as long as the compatibility mode is specified and justified in the project report.<\/p>\n The project submitted may have other sources of funding as long as they are complementary and are specified in the report.<\/p>\n Total income may never exceed the development costs of the projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t The deadline for applications is THURSDAY, 31 August 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n Proposals sent by e-mail will be accepted until 23.59 hours (Spanish peninsular time) on the day indicated.<\/p>\n If the application contains errors that can be rectified, the organisation will inform the applicant so that, within a period of three days from the date of communication, they can proceed to rectify them as an essential condition for the application to be taken into account in the evaluation process.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t Timeframe<\/u>: The timetable of projects and placements will run until 24 December 2023. The project completion report must be submitted by 29 December 2023. <\/p>\n Duration<\/u>: Proposals for ARTISTIC RESIDENCES must be developed over a minimum period of THIRTY days and a maximum of TWO months.<\/p>\n Endowment<\/u>: The projects will have a maximum financial allocation of 4,500.00 \u20ac which must be justified in the project report according to the expenses indicated in the following section.<\/p>\n Accommodation:<\/span> The association Territorio Mud\u00e9jar will finance the cost of accommodation in the town or towns where the artistic residency takes place. Accommodation will be assessed according to the needs of the proposal and the availability of suitable accommodation with the organisation. <\/p>\n Expenditure chargeable to the grant<\/u>: In all proposals, the budget must identify the concepts subject to and deriving directly from the needs of the project – for example: expenses derived from the development of the work, materials, travel, maintenance, others – including, if any, the corresponding taxes, as well as the payment for reproduction, exhibition and public communication rights, if the project requires it.<\/p>\n Proposals, due to their creative nature, must also include, if the project so requires, all the elements necessary for the total execution of the artistic work: materials, permits, auxiliary means, etc.<\/p>\n In the event that the project has other sources of funding, the following must be specified: Entity, duration, actions financed (object and content) and to which part of the project it is addressed.<\/p>\n Compatibility<\/u>: The development of the stay is compatible with other work, professional or research activities justified to the organisation. The project must indicate the degree of compatibility and the method of work to be carried out in order to avoid overlapping and non-compliance with the conditions indicated in this call. <\/p>\n Number of calls:<\/u> Beneficiaries may not obtain full support in more than two consecutive calls for the same project. Therefore, resident researchers who have been beneficiaries in the last two calls will not be eligible to apply for the call and will be excluded if they do so. <\/p>\n ** Exceptionally, applicants who have not exceeded the amount of \u20ac12,000.00 in two consecutive calls may be considered as beneficiaries if they have been awarded an accesit in previous years’ calls.<\/p>\n Others:<\/u><\/p>\n The beneficiaries will have full advice on the choice of the place to live during the artistic residency, choosing the places that best suit the proposal submitted.<\/p>\n The beneficiaries will be included in the entity’s civil liability insurance.<\/p>\n Beneficiaries shall not enter into any kind of employment relationship with the entity.<\/p>\n All aid will be subject to the withholding and taxes stipulated by the legislation in force, which will be deducted from the corresponding financial endowment.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
